Goal of Omega TV
Our goal is to reach all of Iceland, with the good news through TV. And also to reach other countries in Europe, through satellite by the Gospel Channel Europe.
General information
- Omega TV is the first and only Christian station in Iceland.
- Omega TV is a full power UHF station and has been on the air, since July 1992.
- Omega TV is broadcasting to an area with 75% of the Icelandic population.
- Omega TV is carried on several cable systems.
- Omega TV is reaching several thousand American citizens, stationed at the Keflavik NATO base.
- Omega TV program schedule appears daily in the nationwide newspapers.
- Omega TV has information from surveys done by Gallup. These surveys indicate that that the number of viewers has increased steadily through the years.
